 McLean finished up her Ch. 26 HW from SoTW.

We discussed that HW and read "Baba Yaga" from Favorite Russian Fairy Tales making picture prompt cards with interesting words from the story and discovering some interesting Russian culture like

We talked about samovars (mentioned in the story.)

After talking about China and filling out the map for China in chapter 28, 
we did some suminagashi because Jacob had the supplies here for it from his class at Hilger.

We began today talking about the difference between England/UK/Britain/British Isles/etc. and filled out the map and chart for that.  McLean wrote a response to this: I wonder why the Republic of Ireland isn't a part of the crown.
